Our approach ensures that every child has the time and encouragement to explore their passions across sport, music, drama and an ever-growing range of activities. From performing on stage to representing their Six (House) on the sports field, every pupil is given the chance to shine and to contribute to the life of the school.
Supporting children to find and nurture their talents lies at the heart of our co-curricular provision. Carefully designed development pathways help pupils progress towards excellence, while maintaining space to try new things, take risks, and build confidence. With more than 70 clubs and activities available, the breadth of choice inspires curiosity.
The Packwood Award provides a framework that celebrates personal growth, resilience, and adventure. Pupils in Forms 3 and 4 embark on Wild Passports, while residentials for Forms 3–8 build on the success of our inaugural Journey On expedition held in June this year. Highlights will include the Anglesey Leadership Trip in Form 8 and opportunities for teamwork, independence, and self-discovery.
Our 60-acre site is a classroom in itself. Outdoor learning continues to flourish with activities such as mountain biking, first aid, water safety, and most recently bouldering and climbing embedded into our programme. New initiatives such as screen drama lessons and broadcasting extend creative expression, while enhanced oracy facilities build confidence in communication.
Every opportunity, whether on stage, on the water, or in the great outdoors, is rooted in a single aim: to provide each child with a genuine sense of wonder.
