Our inaugural ‘Breakfast and Books’ events took place last week, with Acorns hosting on Friday and the Prep School following on Saturday. Despite the blustery weather, families arrived in great spirits, ready to share a wonderful start to the day.
Parents were invited to sit alongside their children and explore the wonderful work they have produced so far this year, looking through exercise books and sharing their creative artwork. There was plenty for pupils to show and celebrate, as they demonstrated the progress they have already made this term. The opportunity for relaxed conversation about learning was enjoyed by all, and the classrooms buzzed with enthusiasm.
The morning concluded with a well-earned treat: delicious hot bacon rolls and warming drinks, giving everyone the perfect boost before heading off for the rest of the day. Thank you to all the families who joined us – we know your children loved to share their learning with you.
