Packwood pupils enjoyed a highly engaging and memorable day at Shrewsbury School, taking part in a musical theatre workshop alongside pupils from a number of other schools.
Led by Shrewsbury School’s drama staff and supported by their senior drama pupils, the workshop offered a rich and immersive introduction to musical theatre. Throughout the day, Packwood pupils explored a range of performance disciplines, including drama, dance and song, developing their confidence and creativity in a supportive and encouraging environment.
The sessions culminated in a performance for an audience of parents, giving pupils the opportunity to showcase what they had learned and to experience the excitement of performing in front of a live audience. It was a proud moment for all involved and a wonderful way to celebrate the hard work and enthusiasm shown throughout the day.
Opportunities such as this highlight the strength of the Shrewsbury Family of Schools, allowing our pupils to benefit from specialist facilities, expert teaching and inspiring role models, while enjoying new experiences beyond the classroom.
