Packwood proudly hosted its inaugural Reunion Day, welcoming back 85 former pupils for a heart-warming celebration of memories, community, and school spirit. Spanning Packwood leavers from as far back as 1950 to as recently as 2010, the event brought together generations of alumni, including families with three generations of Packwoodians in attendance.
The day included guided tours of the school, led by current pupils and staff, offering guests a glimpse of both the familiar and the new. Alumni also had the chance to delve into Packwood’s rich history looking at the archives, as well as being introduced to the exciting vision outlined in the Packwood Strategic Plan 2030.
Lunch was a highlight, with guests enjoying a classic and delicious serving of fish and chips. The afternoon continued in true Packwood fashion with Sixes (House) cricket matches played in excellent conditions. Spectators relaxed on the sidelines, soaking up the sunshine and cheering on the players.
No Packwood event would be complete without the legendary match tea and this one did not disappoint. The day was full of shared stories, laughter, and a deep sense of belonging.
