The glorious winter sun shone brightly on the grounds of Packwood as we joined together for the first House competition of the term. The annual Sixes Cross Country Championships was a fantastic showcase of determination, teamwork and school spirit, with an impressive 145 runners taking part across the event. The atmosphere was electric as pupils gave their all for their Sixes (Houses), knowing that every single finish mattered.
In a remarkably close contest, only five points separated 1st and 4th place, underlining just how important every runner’s contribution was. With all runners earning a point simply for completing the race, alongside bonus points for finishing positions, this truly was a competition where commitment and perseverance counted just as much as podium places.
