Around 30 pupils were involved in this year’s Packwood Christmas Concert. The Old Library, decorated for Christmas, provided a lovely setting for a chamber concert, and an ideal performance opportunity for pupils from Years 4 to 8. Some highlights included the Year 7 Clarinet Quartet, the newly-formed Senior String Quartet, a mixed Woodwind Ensemble and two vocal groups. There were also some lovely instrumental and vocal solos from pupils who had recently taken their ABRSM music exams.
