Our Year 8 students have been shining a light on their understanding of electricity! As part of their science curriculum, they were tasked with creating informative videos explaining key concepts.
From planning their scripts to gathering the necessary equipment, our young filmmakers have been working diligently to produce engaging and educational content. We’ve been impressed by their creativity, confidence, and ability to clearly communicate complex ideas. Such an exercise is designed to help embed and cement concepts in the pupils’ minds, giving them greater confidence in these areas.
Several videos are already complete and have been a valuable resource for their classmates. We’re particularly impressed by overseas students who are presenting their videos in a second language – very impressive indeed.
We can’t wait to see the final results of the remaining projects and share them with the wider school community.
