Friday 7th November was a day to remember as Acorns brought the magic of castles and crowns to life in our Turrets and Tiaras themed open assembly.
The hall was filled with anticipation as families gathered to see the children showcase their learning. The morning began with Form 2 delivering an impressive fact-filled medley, sharing fascinating details they had researched about kings, queens, and life in royal times. Their confidence and teamwork set a wonderful tone for the event.
Form 1 followed with a creative kings and queens acrostic poem, performed with clarity and expression. It was a joy to see their ideas come to life on stage.
For Reception, this was a milestone moment. It was their very first time performing in front of an audience. They stepped up with courage and enthusiasm, earning smiles and applause from everyone present.
The grand finale brought the whole of Acorns together for a lively group dance to “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King”. There was plenty of energy for this and the children’s joy shone through with every move.
This assembly was more than a performance; it was a celebration of learning, teamwork, and confidence. Every child played their part beautifully, and we couldn’t be prouder. A huge well done to all our Acorns.
