Our U11 and U13 girls enjoyed an inspiring Netball Skills Day hosted at Shrewsbury School. The event was coached by Serena Guthrie MBE, former England Netball Captain, whose energy, expertise and encouragement made the experience truly unforgettable for every pupil involved.
Across the day, the girls took to Shrewsbury’s excellent courts to develop their technical skills, teamwork and confidence. The coaching sessions were engaging and full of insight, offering the girls a rare opportunity to learn directly from one of the sport’s most distinguished players.
Packwood’s teams also put their newly honed skills into action in a lively round-robin competition against several schools. Facing strong and determined opposition, the girls rose to the challenge with great spirit and teamwork. It was a memorable occasion that helped further ignite their passion for netball and sport.
