We are incredibly proud to share the outstanding achievements of our Form 3 children this year. From the very beginning, they have demonstrated enthusiasm, resilience, and a genuine love of learning, making remarkable progress across all subject areas. Their hard work and determination have truly paid off, with every child successfully achieving Bronze, Silver and Gold awards – an impressive accomplishment that reflects both their commitment and their personal growth throughout the year.
Even more exciting, several children have gone above and beyond to earn our highest honour: the prestigious ‘Soaring Owl’ award. This special recognition is presented by Mr Goldsmith, during a whole school assembly and celebrates exceptional effort, creativity and independence in learning.
This year, Form 3 pupils have achieved ‘Soaring Owl’ awards across a variety of subjects, showcasing their wide-ranging talents. In Geography, children demonstrated excellent collaborative skills as they worked together to create detailed and imaginative 3D posters based on countries in Oceania, combining research, creativity and teamwork to a very high standard. In Mathematics, they showed a deep and secure understanding of geometry by designing engaging infographics that clearly explained different types of angles, presenting their knowledge in a thoughtful and creative way. In English, inspired by The Sandman and the Turtles by Michael Morpurgo, the children produced reflective and engaging diary entries written from different perspectives, demonstrating empathy, creativity and an increasingly confident use of descriptive language.
These achievements highlight not only the children’s academic progress, but also their growing confidence, independence and ability to work both collaboratively and creatively. Form 3 have truly set a wonderful example of what can be achieved through perseverance, enthusiasm and a positive attitude to learning. We are immensely proud of all our Form 3 pupils and look forward to seeing their continued success as they move forward on their learning journey. Well done all – keep soaring!
