Year 4 enjoyed hosting the annual Junior Christmas Fair on Monday. Pupils from both forms created games and stalls to run, including a raffle, tombola, creative Lego competition, creative arts experiences, guess the name of the teddy and much more.
Year 3 helped with the organisation too by using their maths skills to create small purses of play money to spend at the fair.
After break, the Year 4s ran a second Christmas Fair for our youngest pupils. Each Year 4 was paired with a Reception buddy who they helped to guide around the various games and stalls. Maths skills were utilised, as the Reception class used their counting skills to count coins to pay for each game.
The Christmas lego competition saw some fabulous entries, and was won by one of our youngest pupils. Elias’ owl themed creation was selected as the winning entry, due to its originality and creativity. The coveted prize is to be displayed in Mr Goldsmith’s office among his prized Lego constructions. A huge thank you to Polly and Catherine (Y4) who ran the competition as part of the Christmas Fair.
