Acorns Sports Day was a fantastic success, with children enjoying an afternoon of fun, friendly competition and teamwork. The event began with a variety of exciting races, followed by field events including the ball throw, long jump, and Nerf throw. Every child gave their best effort, showing determination, and excellent sportsmanship throughout the afternoon.
The day finished with the highlight of the event, the ever popular relay race. With teammates cheering each other on and families offering plenty of encouragement, it was the ideal way to end a wonderful afternoon.
This year’s Sports Day was particularly special as it marked Kate Parry’s final Acorns Sports Day after more than 20 years of organising and coordinating the event. Kate’s dedication and hard work have made Sports Day a much loved tradition. We would like to thank Kate for her incredible commitment and everything she has done for Acorns.
