This half term has been particularly busy with the boarders enjoying a wealth of activities both onsite at Packwood and in various locations around the county.
Particular highlights include a visit to the Indoor Sky Diving Centre in Liverpool. Boarders enjoyed the thrills and spills of what it would be like to jump from a plane at 10,000 feet. Bravery and determination were definitely prevalent, and an enjoyable time was had by all.
A visit by a company offering circus skills also proved exceptionally popular. Boarders had the opportunity to learn how to juggle, walk on stilts, use a diablo and balance plates. The children dazzled us with their skills and achievements!
This term has also seen the boarders venture out for ice skating, quad biking, paintballing, laser quest and the Crocky Trail in Chester.
We have also enjoyed welcoming 30 children from Shrewsbury School, Bangkok who spent a long weekend at Packwood. They took part in sport and Sunday activities which included a pamper party and archery. They spent plenty of time socialising with our boarders and forming friendships along the way.
