The Packwood community came together for the annual BBQ and Bluebell Walk – an event that perfectly marks the end of the first week back and sets a joyful tone for the summer term ahead.
The afternoon began with a barbeque, where families, staff, and pupils gathered to enjoy the food, good company, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere that defines life at Packwood.
Afterwards, we set off on a leisurely walk through the grounds, making our way down to the Spinney and beyond. Along the way, we were treated to the breathtaking sight of bluebells in full bloom, carpeting the woodland floor in a sea of violet.
For the more energetic amongst the group, the mountain biking trail and the famously steep climb back up to Big Tree provided an added challenge – one that was met with great enthusiasm and more than a few laughs.
It was a delightful afternoon full of fresh air, friendship and the beauty of the outdoors.
