The Packwood boarders have had an adventurous start to 2024, having already enjoyed the thrills and spills of Bear Grylls High Wires in Birmingham and Bounce Below in Wales, as well as bowling and paintballing. The Sunday activity programme is full of fantastic activities providing a chance to venture offsite and enjoy some downtime with friends, while building a wonderful community. There are more boarders than ever taking up the opportunities on offer and having as much fun as they can handle.
Wednesday evening saw the return of Burn’s Night. The boarders were treated to a reading of ‘Address to a Haggis’ read by Mr. Robertson with the most authentic Scottish twang, fantastic bagpipes played by the talented Logan (Rigg’s House, Shrewsbury School) and delicious food created by Packwood’s talented chefs. This was followed by some traditional Scottish dancing to burn off the excess energy. The Packwood boarders certainly know how to have fun!
