Packwood’s boarding community recently came together to celebrate their cherished Burns Night tradition, marking the occasion with an evening of Scottish culture, music, and dance.
The festivities began with a stirring performance by Logan, our talented guest piper from Shrewsbury School, whose expertly played music set the perfect tone for the night. This was followed by the traditional Address to the Haggis, delivered expertly by Mr. Caithness. Adding to the occasion, two of our youngest boarders, Sam and Sienna, embraced the spirit of the evening by joining in the recital.
After enjoying a classic Burns Night feast of haggis, neeps, and tatties, the celebrations continued with an evening of spirited Scottish dancing. The boarders enthusiastically took to the floor, demonstrating both energy and enthusiasm as they twirled through the traditional reels.
It was a night to remember—filled with camaraderie, culture, and celebration.
