It has been wonderful to have more than 120 grandparents at Packwood today; grandparents who play such an important part in their grandchildren’s lives and are able to enjoy that very special and unique relationship.
Their children have been delighted to have the opportunity to show them around the school and showed genuine pride in doing so. Pre-lunch drinks accompanied by the Voci Di Mezzo, Flute Trio, Mixed Ensemble, Clarinet Quartet and Junior Ensemble were followed by a scrumptious lunch in the dining room, followed by some Sixes Cricket. Conditions were cloudy and a little chilly, but everyone enjoyed a thoroughly good afternoon.
Packwood’s Grandparents’ Day is held annually, providing an opportunity for grandparents to tour the school with their grandchildren and gain a fantastic insight into day to day life at Packwood.
