The Packwood Acorns trip to Xplore Science Museum in Wrexham was an exciting and educational adventure! On arrival we were greeted by a variety of interactive exhibits that made learning about science fun and engaging. One of the most fascinating parts of the visit was the section dedicated to forces. We learned how different forces like gravity, friction, and magnetism work, and had hands-on experience with activities that demonstrated these forces in action. It was amazing to see how something as simple as a ball rolling down a ramp could teach the children so much about speed, force, and motion.
Another highlight was the Toybox Science exhibit, which brought a sense of wonder and nostalgia. We explored the science behind classic toys, discovering how they work through principles of physics and engineering. From spinning tops to simple pulleys, we were able to experiment with toys that helped explain complex ideas in a fun, approachable way. The museum made learning feel like play, which made the experience even more memorable. The trip to Xplore was a fantastic way to see science come to life.
