Peer mentoring sessions for the older Packwood pupils have continued in earnest this term. All our Year 8 leaders have been trained using materials from the Anna Freud Charity. There has been some excellent feedback on the experience so far, both from the Year 7 pupils reflecting on the extra support offered to them as well as the Year 8 pupils enjoying this new leadership opportunity. As one pupil put it “I really enjoyed spending time getting to know my mentee, listening and talking to them.”
