The first week or two in the boarding houses has been a whirlwind of activity, and it’s been wonderful to see so many new faces joining the Packwood family. From the moment they arrived, both new and returning boarders have been buzzing with excitement, quickly forming new friendships. It has been wonderful to reconnect with familiar friends and we extend a particularly warm welcome to all our new boarders, some joining us from nearby, and others from further afield.
We are also delighted to welcome Magnus and Helen Caithness as the new Girls’ Houseparents in Park House. They have settled in brilliantly, as have our new graduate gap students, Tilly Warner and Charlotte Harrower. They’ve already become an integral part of our vibrant community, and we offer them, along with all our new boarders and staff, a heartfelt Packwood welcome.
Despite the fast pace, our boarders have embraced every challenge and opportunity with enthusiasm. Year 8 embarked on an exciting History trip to Naseby, while the Year 7 and 8 rugby enthusiasts travelled to Malvern for a dynamic training session. Meanwhile, everyone is quickly getting back into the rhythm of Packwood life.
It’s been a fantastic start to the term, and we’re looking forward to all the adventures and opportunities ahead!
