As part of their recent TPR studies, Year 6 have been very fortunate to tour the beautiful grade II listed Singer’s Hill Synagogue in Birmingham, one of very few special synagogues in the country. Our guide, Mr Goodman, showed us precious Jewish artefacts and we were treated to the opening of the Holy Ark, revealing the ten Torah scrolls. Year 6 listened respectfully and asked excellent questions. It was an enjoyable and memorable occasion for all.
