Form 4 have launched a fundraising initiative to support children around the world who do not have enough to eat.
Inspired by a recent visit from Hannah from Mary’s Meals, our Form 4 pupils learned how hunger can affect a child’s ability to concentrate, learn and even attend school. They were amazed to discover that just 10p can help provide a school meal for a child, supporting both nourishment and education in some of the world’s poorest communities.
At Packwood, pupils enjoy healthy, nourishing meals each day – something they now recognise as a real privilege. Motivated to help others, Year 4 are taking action by collecting loose change from the Packwood community. Even the smallest coins, they have learned, can make a big difference when combined.
Families are warmly encouraged to look for spare change at home and send donations into school. Contributions will be collected from each form.
Thank you for supporting Form 4 and helping to turn small change into something life-changing!
