The match against Cothill was my favourite rugby match this season so far. At the start of the match, we just weren’t ‘switched on’, as we had been on a two-and-a-half-hour journey. It also didn’t help that Louis and Andrew were injured at the start. Freddie scored a Hat Trick, and on two of the tries he scored, he ran through half of their team. Charlie also scored one try. In the end we lost 4-5, but it was a very exciting and competitive match. We were all really amazed by the younger years’ chants as Cothill must have had 50 boys chanting for them. Ruben did some amazing textbook tackles and was made man of the match for Packwood.
During match tea we met someone who is going to Shrewsbury School and his dad had gone to Packwood. We met quite a few people who will go to the same senior schools as us, so we might become friends. All of the people at Cothill were really nice and it was one of the nicest schools we have played. (Team Captain, Ferdi)
