The Acorns had a wonderful adventure on their trip to Ludlow Castle, exploring its towering walls and winding staircases. The children were full of excitement as they imagined what life might have been like for kings, queens and knights long ago. They enjoyed spotting arrow slits, peeking through the windows of the towers, and learning how the castle was protected. After a picnic in the castle grounds, Mr Weston shared many fun facts about castles in history. It was a day full of curiosity, imagination, and discovery, bringing our Turrets and Tiaras topic to life.
